Day 5    Durango, Co to Leadville, CO

Now are you ready to take on the highest public paved airport in the country?  Today's flight will be east then north over Alamosa, CO continuing over Poncha Pass, over Salida, Co and on to Leadville.  The fight should be about 2 hours in length as we cover about 200 NM.  The views will be breathtaking.  After landing in Leadville we will visit the Mining Museum.  They have done a wonderful job on the museum that should leave you with some great respect of the old time miners and the men that built the mining industry.  We will be staying at the Hotel Delaware.  This is another historic hotel and something you will talk about long after you have gone home.

The next morning we will guide you out of the mountains from Leadville and on your way or help you with flight plans and some more wonderful places to visit out west in the mountains.

$2550 For the Pilot
$ 750 For each additional person sharing same lodging room
